Diese Gehirnstr\u00f6me (EEG-Wellen) werden beim Neurofeedback-Training von einem Computer gemessen und ausgewertet. Sie erhalten dadurch eine R\u00fcckmeldung \u2013 also ein Feedback \u2013 aus Ihrem eigenen Nervensystem. <br \/><br \/>W\u00e4hrend des Trainings messen Sensoren die Hirnstr\u00f6me des Patienten. Die Ver\u00e4nderungen Ihres Befindens werden dann vom Computer h\u00f6r- und sichtbar gemacht. Ein positives Signal (z. B. Musik, Ger\u00e4usch, Animation) wird vom Computer nur dann gegeben, wenn die Hirnstr\u00f6me eine g\u00fcnstige Zusammensetzung aufweisen, Sie also z. B. entspannt sind. Das zeigt Ihnen, ob Sie sich in Richtung Ihres gew\u00fcnschten Ziels hin bewegen. Das Training erm\u00f6glicht Ihnen somit ein rasches Lernen gew\u00fcnschter Ver\u00e4nderungen. <br \/><br \/>Ziel des Neurofeedback ist es, die Patenten in die Lage zu versetzen, den gew\u00fcnschten Zustand willentlich zu regulieren. Man k\u00f6nnte das Neurofeedback daher als eine Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe bezeichnen.
